Registrar Office, under the provisions of OGRAO, 2002 and The Natural Gas Tariff Rules, 2002, receives and processes the petitions for DERR, FRR filed by SSGCL and SNGPL and their reviews. Prepares news publications, issues public hearing notices, invites comments from interveners/ general public and coordinates in-house activities and issuance of decisions by the Authority. Furthermore, the whole process is also followed in grant of licenses that may include Natural Gas, LNG and low pressure of gas cases. Receives and processes Appeals and Review Petitions filed under Section 12 (1) and 13 of OGRAO, 2002 in cases of Natural Gas, LPG, CNG sectors/ Enforcement cases, records proceedings of the Authority, prepares draft decisions and issues these after seeking approval of the Authority.In accordance with CRPR, 2003, receives, scrutinizes and processes complaints against the Licensees in Natural Gas, CNG, LPG, Oil and Enforcement cases. The complaints are forwarded to the Designated Officers for appropriate disposal. Furthermore, the matters received through telephones, e-mails and walk in consumers are guided towards proper forum for resolution. Processes applications for determination of Well-Head Gas Price and sends the same to Finance Department and also scrutinizes fee matters, provides legal opinions, represents OGRA at different forums on behalf of the Authority.
